Men's ankle boots

Elasticated chelseas or lace-up boots: classic silhouettes, free of animal leather. The microfibre they are made of is dense and evenly grained — it gets through an urban winter unmarked and wipes clean with a damp cloth.

A synthetic material remains a compromise: polyurethane instead of hide, no polishing needed, no patina either. The trade-off is written down; the wearer gets to make it.
