ekomfort was born of a conviction that fits into three words: harmony without compromise. Never between style and values, never between comfort and sustainability, never between high standards and gentleness.
Why ekomfort
We are curators, not volume merchants. We hand-pick, piece by piece, sustainable clothing, shoes and accessories — for Luxembourg and the Greater Region, in French, German and English.
A selection, not a catalogue. Every piece that joins ekomfort has been examined, turned over, questioned: where does it come from, who sewed it, how many seasons will it last? If an answer doesn’t convince us, the piece doesn’t make it in. Our selection charter rests on verifiable criteria — public and clearly explained.
Today, Nae’s vegan shoes open the selection. Tomorrow, other European houses that share our standards will join — and we will only name them once they have said yes. It’s slower than a catalogue. It’s also what makes for choices that matter.
How we choose
Certified materials
Organic cotton, recycled fibres, upcycled materials: the textiles we select are backed by verifiable certifications such as GOTS — never by a vague promise.
Audited workshops
We favour pieces made in workshops audited against independent standards, such as the Fair Wear Foundation.
Pieces built to last
Repairable seams, materials that age well, a possible second life: a piece only makes the selection if it is made to last. Extending a garment’s life cuts its footprint in half.

Designed in Luxembourg, delivered across the Greater Region, with simple returns through which every piece finds a second life.
Our labels, explained
The Global Organic Textile Standard certifies organic fibres and social criteria at every step of the textile chain, from field to seam.
The Fair Wear Foundation independently audits working conditions in garment workshops and publishes its reports.
This label guarantees that no materials of animal origin go into a product — glues included.
