Organic cotton replaces wool here, the animal material most commonly used for this product. The trade-off is real and worth stating: cotton insulates less in hard cold, but it washes more easily, does not felt in the wash and does not itch.

A 30 °C wash is enough; the tumble dryer tends to shrink the knit within the first few cycles.
