Apple leather belts for women

Apple leather — sold under the AppleSkin® brand — is made from residues of the apple juice industry, dried and bonded onto a textile backing. On a belt, its slightly irregular grain shows more than anywhere else: this is an accessory you look at up close.

In all honesty: the material contains polyurethane — about half its mass. It is not “plastic-free”; it puts an agricultural by-product to use where microfibre starts from virgin petroleum. That is the step it takes — and no bigger one.
