Which countries does ekomfort deliver to, and how long does it take?
ekomfort delivers to Luxembourg, mainland France, Belgium and Germany, in 5 to 8 working days by standard delivery and in 3 to 4 working days by express. Delivery times run from the confirmation of the order; an order confirmed after 11 a.m. takes one additional working day. Overseas French territories and other countries are not served at this time.
What is the free delivery threshold?
Standard delivery is free from €90 of purchase. Below that it costs €7.90; express delivery costs €12.90, whatever the order value. Rates are identical across the four countries served, and parcel tracking is always included.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 30 days to return an item, with no need to justify your decision. This commercial window includes the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal set out in EU directive 2011/83/EU. The product must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us, and the refund is issued no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision.
Are returns free?
Returns are free from €90. Below that amount, return postage is at your expense, as permitted by the EU directive provided you were informed before ordering. If an item reaches you damaged or not as described, we cover the return whatever the order value.
How do I choose my size at ekomfort?
Take your usual size for shoes, and measure yourself for clothing: the size guide sets out the four measurements that matter — chest, waist, hips and foot length. Measure your foot at the end of the day, standing, heel against a wall: it swells slightly over the hours, and that is the measurement that counts. For strappy sandals, factor in your instep rather than length alone.
What are ekomfort's vegan shoes made of?
Vegan, according to the manufacturers' product pages: made without animal-derived materials. The selection centres on three upper materials: cork, Piñatex® and Desserto®. According to their manufacturers, Piñatex® contains pineapple leaf fibres and a synthetic share, the proportion of which depends on the line of the material, and Desserto® contains cactus. Until 31 October 2026, a few models with a synthetic or AppleSkin® upper remain on sale. Some pieces also use organic cotton, lyocell or recycled PET. Every product page states the upper material, according to the manufacturer.
Are vegan shoes durable?
Durability comes down to construction more than to the label: how the seams hold, how the parts are joined and how the sole is attached decide how long a pair lasts. No material in this selection behaves quite like leather, which develops a patina and can be repaired; each has its own suppleness and care. Every product page states the upper material and, where the item holds any, its certifications, which is enough to compare before buying.
How do I care for vegan shoes?
A damp cloth is enough for everyday care. Avoid conditioning products and polishes made for leather, which can leave surface marks. Let them air-dry, away from direct heat. Textile pieces — socks, tops — are washed according to their care label and best dried flat: the tumble dryer noticeably shortens the life of the knit.
Which payment methods are accepted?
ekomfort accepts Visa and Mastercard bank cards, as well as Bancontact. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details never pass through our servers and are never stored by ekomfort. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included.
Are the products certified?
Four certifications appear across the selection: PETA, GOTS, GRS and OEKO-TEX, each covering part of the catalogue rather than all of it. PETA attests the absence of animal materials and animal testing; GOTS audits organic fibre and social criteria, from field to seam; GRS verifies actual recycled content and its traceability; OEKO-TEX tests the finished product for harmful substances. A badge shown on a product page always corresponds to a certification that item genuinely holds — each label is explained on the Our labels page.
How we handle reviews
Only people who bought an item can review that item. Before we accept a review, we check that the email address given belongs to an order for this item. Your email address is not published. We publish good and bad reviews alike, without changing their text. We only remove a review if it insults someone, is not about the item, or is false or illegal. We also remove a review that gives an address or a phone number. We offer nothing in return for a review: no code, no gift, no competition. We pay for no reviews, and we write none ourselves. Does a review seem false or hurtful to you? Write to [email protected].
