Our approach — Accessibility
Accessibility statement
A responsible selection has to be a selection everyone can reach. ekomfort commits to the WCAG 2.1, level AA standard — a commitment we have not found at any comparable sustainable fashion retailer in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
What we already apply
- AA-compliant colour contrast on body text (the decorative ochre tones stay reserved for non-textual elements).
- Full keyboard navigation, including the Shop mega-menu and the product filter panels.
- The
aria-expanded,aria-currentandaria-labelattributes on menus, breadcrumbs and search facets. - A non-colour indicator (underline) on every link in body text, beyond colour contrast alone.
- Support for the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem preference on decorative animations.
What still needs a formal audit
This statement reflects the practices applied as the site was built. A full external audit (screen reader, 200% zoom, assisted checkout journey) has not yet been carried out — we do not claim certified conformance until that audit has taken place.
