We do not list hundreds of brands: we choose a few, and we choose them well. Every brand in the selection is assessed against the same criteria before a single one of its products appears in the shop.

Organic fibres, recycled materials or innovative alternatives: composition comes before storytelling. Whatever touches your skin should have nothing to hide.
Verified certifications
We check every label a brand claims — and we explain what each one actually guarantees. A badge on a product page always corresponds to a verified fact.

Priority to European workshops: shorter journeys, working conditions that can be verified, craftsmanship you can actually visit.

Nae — the first brand in the selection
Born in Lisbon, Nae — short for “no animal exploitation” — is one of Europe’s pioneers of vegan footwear. No materials of animal origin whatsoever: the brand works with cork, Piñatex® pineapple-leaf fibre, recycled PET from plastic bottles and OEKO-TEX®-certified microfibres.
Production is entrusted to workshops in Portugal, where shoemaking know-how has been handed down for generations — production conditions that proximity makes verifiable, which is exactly what we ask of every brand in the selection.
